ELKHORN
Alpine Valley
Ride 8.1 miles of single track at Alpine Valley, starting with a leg-burning climb up the ski hill. Miles of twists, turns, and fast descents follow, with more than 1,030 feet of total climbing around the property.
Avant in Lake Geneva and La Grange rents and services bikes alongside a café at both locations. Riding groups meet weekly at the Lake Geneva location on Wednesdays and Sundays for group rides.
A 12-mile crushed limestone trail running from Elkhorn to Racine County through glaciated landscape. Enjoy views of historic villages, old railroad trestles and bridges, and the scenic countryside of Lyons and Springfield.
The Southern Unit of Kettle Moraine State Forest offers more than 30 miles of off-road trails considered some of the best in the Midwest. Trails are typically open from mid-April to mid-February as weather permits.
