Head over to Delavan and Elkhorn to visit family-owned orchards where you can pick your own Honeycrisp, Gala, and McIntosh apples straight from the tree. Spooktacular Festivities: Halloween Celebrations and Main Street Fun


The month of October culminates in a county-wide celebration of Halloween that brings our tight-knit communities together. From historic town squares to bustling lakefront promenades, local Main Streets roll out the orange carpet for visitors and residents alike.



Festivals and Fantasy:

  • Dragon Days Fantasy Festival: Lake Geneva: October 3rd & 4th

    "Dragon Days is a fun-filled fantasy festival for families, fantasy fans, and gamers alike! This city-wide event celebrates Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, as the birthplace of fantasy!"

  • Town of Delavan Oktoberfest: Community Park at Water's Edge, Noon-6 pm

    "Join us for the annual Town of Delavan Oktoberfest! We'll have live music, authentic German dancing and activities, food, drinks, and much more! Free family-friendly event!"

  • East Troy Fall Beer & Wine Walk: East Troy Square: October 10th, 4-7 pm

    "Celebrate all things fall at East Troy’s restaurants, shops & more while you sample unique wines, seasonal meads and beers. Walk around beautiful downtown East Troy while sipping and shopping in the boutique shops, enjoying samples from local restaurants, and exploring other distinct venues as they toast the Fall Season."

  • Lake Geneva Oktoberfest: Lake Geneva: October 10th & 11th

    "Join us in Celebrating Traditional German Festivities in Flat Iron Park and Downtown Business District! ​NEW This Year: Oktoberfest Beer Crawl October 9, 2026"

  • Elkhorn Oktoberfest: Elkhorn: October 17th

    "Elkhorn Oktoberfest fills the entire downtown area with bands, brats, and golden beers.  Rounding out the Oktoberfest season on the third Saturday in October, the Elkhorn Chamber invites you, your family, and friends to visit and spend the day enjoying this outdoor festival. Expect to see the park filled with craft and commercial vendors alike! Walk the line on Wisconsin St and enjoy local and German cuisine from a variety of food vendors! LIVE MUSIC will plug in at 11 am and play till our day ends. Explore downtown Elkhorn at our All Around Town Beer/Wine Tasting. Plan on signing up for the Oktoberfest 5K Run/Walk and sticking around to walk through our Annual Classic Car Show."

  • Boo in the Bay: Williams Bay: October 17th, 12- 2 pm

    "Join us for Williams Bay’s Trunk or Treat! Dress up in your favorite costume and head to Williams Bay High School for an afternoon of Halloween fun from 12:00–2:00 PM. Kids and families can make their way from trunk to trunk, collecting treats and checking out all of the decorated vehicles. Trunk or Treat will also feature pumpkin carving and decorating as part of our Boo in the Bay festivities. Come out, bring your treat bag, and enjoy a fun afternoon with the community!"

  • Beastfest: Elkhorn: October 24th, 1 pm- 5 pm

  • Goblin Walk & Parade: Delavan: October 31st, 6-7 pm

    "Goblins, ghosts, and all of our dressed-up friends are invited to meet at the Post Office at 6:00 pm to walk in the parade from the Post Office to the American Legion."
