Lake Geneva, WI – Wisconsin Cheese Fest is back and bigger than ever, bringing three days of live music, artisan cheeses, and family-friendly fun to the Lake Geneva House of Music from Friday, May 16 through Sunday, May 18.
Set on the scenic grounds of the Lake Geneva House of Music, the festival celebrates Wisconsin’s world-class cheesemakers alongside a dynamic lineup of regional bands and entertainment. From fresh curds to aged cheddars, attendees can sample and purchase some of the state’s finest dairy products — all while enjoying performances across multiple stages.
New for this year, the festival features expanded offerings including local food trucks, themed tasting days (Whiskey Day, Craft Beer Day, and Wine Day), and interactive events like Cheese & Wine Trivia and Cheese Bingo. Whether you’re a foodie, a music lover, or simply looking for a great weekend outing, Wisconsin Cheese Fest has something for everyone.
“We’re incredibly excited to welcome everyone back to Cheese Fest,” said Chris Buttleman, owner of the Lake Geneva House of Music and the festival’s organizer. “This event is a celebration of everything Wisconsin does best — incredible cheese, great live music, and a strong sense of community. It’s one of our favorite weekends of the year.”

The music lineup spans all three days. Friday night’s headliner, Johnny Lyons & The Pride, delivers a high-energy tribute to Elvis, Johnny Cash, and other rock ‘n’ roll legends.
On Saturday night, internationally renowned Henhouse Prowlers take the stage. Known for their powerful bluegrass sound and cultural outreach, the band has toured 29 countries and five continents, partnering with the U.S. State Department and their nonprofit, Bluegrass Ambassadors, to connect with global audiences through music.
Other confirmed acts include Midwest Picking Coalition, Stryder Bluegrass Band, Aidan Muse, Tony John & The Flatland String Band, Nicole Nystrom Trio, and Fox Crossing Stringband.
