The race promotes the City of Whitewater and highlights its greatest features\, along with encouraging a healthy lifestyle for people of all ages. \n\n\n\nThe Discover Whitewater Series race was initiated by the Greater Whitewater Committee\, Inc. nine years ago in September 2013. Thanks to the continued support and growing interest\, the annual Discover Whitewater Series has proven to be a great success year after year. In nine years\, the Discover Whitewater Series has been able to distribute over $229\,500 to five local organizations in efforts to build a stronger community. The five-day Festival runs from August 14-18 and takes place at Flat Iron\, Library\, and Seminary Parks in picturesque downtown Lake Geneva.Venetian Festival features a weekend of great family entertainment including a Craft Fair\, Carnival\, Water ski show\, Traditional festival food and a beer tent featuring live music. This is all capped off on Sunday with a traditional Venetian Style lighted boat parade followed by the area’s largest fireworks display over Geneva Lake.The Lake Geneva Jaycees Annual Venetian Festival was founded in 1962. For over a half century\, Venetian Festival has been the banner event for the Lake Geneva Jaycees Chapter. It represents the largest revenue generator for the club. The net profits all go back into the local community and organizations. The Geneva Lake West Rotary Club a.k.a Walworth Fontana Rotary Foundation is a nonprofit\, 100% volunteer organization. \n\n\n\nThe Corn & Brat Festival has continued for years as one of the summer high-points in Walworth County. During the day-long celebration\, there will be live entertainment\, a beer tent\, and drive-thru service. Rotarian’s will be preparing and serving the traditional two roasted ears of corn and grilled bratwurst that is included in the ticket price.
